How you'll spend your time...

The Introduction to the World of Hospitality course lasts 2 weeks and runs from April to August. It can be combined with an additional week at the World of Culinary for a full introductory session. 

Ideal for 16 to 20-year-olds looking to discover what the World of Hospitality has in store


Over your two weeks with us, your time will be split between visits to local attractions, learning the practical aspects of hospitality, and social activities in the evenings.

During your first week…

You'll be introduced to the world of hospitality, fine dining, cultures and customs and communication skills. Here is a sneak peek at a typical day during your stay with us:

During your second week…

With an average class size of 20 students, you will be able to select a World of Hospitality specialisation to tailor your second week to your interests:

Developing Your Inner Leader

Ideal for anyone looking to develop his or her leadership skills

The World of Hotels

A great opportunity to learn more about hotel life

  • Participate in “events in action” activities

Duration & Requirements

The Introduction to the World of Hospitality class lasts for 2 weeks, with courses offered over April, July and August.

Our only requirement is that you have an English score of 4.5 IELTS (or equivalent).


Montreux Campus:

  • Sunday 16th July - Saturday 29th July 2017
  • Sunday 30th July - Saturday 12th August 2017
  • Sunday 13th August - Saturday 26th August 2017

Course Fees

For the two week Introduction to World of Hospitality, the price of CHF 3,500.- includes a standard double bedroom, all meals and all activities and excursions. This can be combined with an additional week to partake in the World of Culinary course for a total, preferential price of CHF 5,000.-.

According to individual needs, health insurance, airport transfers and room upgrades are available upon request. Please request your free brochure for full details.

As an additional bonus, we appreciate that the Introduction to World of Hospitality is exactly that - a chance to see if studying Hospitality is right for you. For this reason, after completion of your two week introductory course, should you choose to enrol full-time in a Swiss Education Group school and undertake a 3 year bachelor degree, you will be reimbursed your World of Hospitality fees on a pro-rata basis.
