Leadership Pillar Program

César Ritz Colleges partners with Harvard Business Publishing Education to provide a unique leadership program that equips hospitality and tourism students with essential skills to excel in a rapidly evolving global marketplace.

The Leadership Pillar Program (LPP) focuses on three core areas:

  • Self-Awareness
  • Goal Setting
  • Leadership Development

The program includes workshops and one-on-one mentoring sessions. Introductory self-awareness and goal-setting sessions are compulsory in Terms 1–2, while Terms 3–8 offer voluntary leadership courses delivered in partnership with Harvard Business Publishing Education.

Students who successfully complete all six voluntary Harvard leadership courses receive a Leadership Certificate and social media badge from Harvard Business Publishing Education.

Business Plan Competition

At César Ritz Colleges, our Business Plan Competition challenges students to turn innovative ideas into viable projects—not by working alone, but as part of a team, just as in most real-world business ventures.

Throughout the competition, you'll have access to the guidance of our faculty, who combine academic expertise with extensive industry experience. Their insights can help you refine your concept, strengthen your business model, and prepare a compelling pitch.

How does the competition work in practice? Together with your team, you'll create, validate, and present a start-up idea, seeking advice and mentorship along the way. What makes the experience even more exciting is the opportunity to compete against student teams from our academic partner in the United States, Washington State University.

Equity & Inclusion

We foster a welcoming and equitable community where every individual feels valued, empowered, and supported to thrive and reach their full potential.

What equity means to us

At César Ritz Colleges, equity means ensuring fair access, opportunities, and support for all students and staff, while recognising that individuals may not start from the same point or have the same needs. It is about actively identifying and removing barriers that limit participation and success.

Equity does not mean treating everyone the same; rather, it involves providing differentiated support where needed so that each person can fully engage, thrive, and reach their potential within the community

What inclusion means to us

At César Ritz Colleges, inclusion means creating a respectful and safe environment in which staff and students with a wide range of experiences and identities can authentically express themselves. It is characterised by a strong sense of belonging within a community that promotes openness, acceptance, and empathy.

Inclusion goes beyond a “fitting-in” mindset, which expects individuals to adapt to a predefined environment. Instead, we advocate a “belonging approach,” actively working towards an environment that naturally accommodates and values each person’s uniqueness and specificities.

Code of Ethics

With more than 50 nationalities represented across our campuses, we foster an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. We continuously strive to cultivate a culture of care, integrity, and collaboration, as reflected in our Code of Ethics. César Ritz Colleges aims to be an inclusive place to study, where students are encouraged to share and celebrate their differences.

As our programs are rooted in Tourism and Hospitality Business, César Ritz Colleges adheres to the principles of the UNWTO Global Code of Ethics for Tourism. All our classes, activities, and our own Code of Ethics are designed in alignment with its ten principles. This framework is shared and upheld by our students, staff, and management

Excellence

Rooted in Swiss excellence and inspired by César Ritz's pursuit of the highest levels of achievement, we uphold the highest standards of academic rigor, innovative teaching, and personal accountability. We are committed to delivering exceptional learning experiences that empower our students to excel, lead with distinction, and reach the pinnacle of their careers.
