Tanja Florenthal

  • Tanja Florenthal joined CRCS in 2007, as a faculty member and went on to become the Head of Curriculum. She was then appointed Dean at Le Bouveret in 2012 and Brig in 2019 respectively. A graduate of Cornell University, Tanja has extensive international experience in the hospitality industry and education. She has worked in hotel and hospitality management schools in the United States, Thailand, India, the United Arab Emirates, and Israel, and she is a member of the Cornell Hotel Association.
Max Behesht

  • Dean, Lucerne
  • Max Behesht graduated from Kobe University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, and from the University of Gothenburg with a Master's degree in Human Resources and Organisational Management. With his expertise in the industry and strong multicultural background, he teaches Hospitality Leadership and Organisational Behaviour, as well as Human Resource Management.
Sylvana Navarro

  • Assistant Dean, Le Bouveret
  • Sylvana Navarro holds a Master's degree in Global Management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University. With her background in banquets and events, food and beverage, as well as human resources, she has over 15 years of industry experience. She has worked at the Evian Resort and with renowned hotel chains such as Four Seasons, Starwood, Hilton, and Movenpick.
Evelina Gillard

  • Evelina Gillard PhD has worked at the Kempinski Hotel in Geneva and at the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL). Thanks to her work experience and strong academic background, she supervises modules such as Business Research Methods, Organisational Behaviour, and Human Resource Management. She holds a PhD in Human Resource Management from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and a Master's degree in International Business Administration from the University of Geneva.
Olga Larina

  • Lecturer, Brig
  • Olga Larina PhD has more than 10 years of experience teaching economics, She holds a PhD in World Economy and International Economic Relations from the Kyiv National Economic University and she wrote her thesis on the international competitiveness of regions, with a focus on the development of intellectual capital. With her strong background in the field of economics, she currently teaches Strategic Hotel Management, Economics and Public Policy.
Paola Ossola

  • Paola Ossola PhD has experience in both education and research as well as social entrepreneurship. She holds a PhD in Organisational Behaviour Studies in Tourism from the University of Pavia, a Master's degree in Managerial Economics, and a Bachelor's degree in International Management from the University of Insubria. She currently teaches International Tourism Management, Hospitality Marketing, and Service Operations Management.
Sofia Rodrigues

  • Sofia Rodrigues has a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Instituto Superior de Novas Profissões and is currently a PhD student at Sheffield Hallam University. Her main area of expertise is hospitality and tourism management and her passion is hospitableness, the art of genuine service. She has worked in sales and marketing, human resources for luxury hotels, event planners, and airlines in Switzerland, Portugal, and the USA. She brings a blend of academic and industry expertise to the CRCS team. She is also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of HBL, an auditing company specialised in unique customer service, training and career development in the service industry.
Anastasiia Burakovskikh

  • Anastasiia Burakovskikh holds a Master's degree in Wine Business from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Bourgogne (HECB) and Bachelor's degrees from the St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance and the Pierre Mendès France University. With her expertise in wine training and marketing, she currently teaches Wine and Food Pairing, Wine, Beverage & Mixology, Wine & Beverage Management, Food Trends, and gives masterclasses in Food & Digital Media, Wine & Digital Marketing, Sake Tasting. She is also the Social Media Marketing Specialist for CRCS and CAAS, with a focus on Le Bouveret campus.
Sandra Zhu-Bandelier

  • Sandra Zhu-Bandelier holds a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from Bournemouth University and is a Certified Hospitality Education (CHE) instructor by the American Hotel and Lodging Education Institute (AHLEI). She has been with CRCS for over 16 years and currently teaches Hotel Business Management at Le Bouveret campus. Prior to joining our faculty, she was a senior executive at Starwood and Hilton, where she led the group's marketing and sales, finance, and operations teams across Asia, North America, and Europe.
Susan Fournier
  • Susan Fournier
  • Lecturer, Le Bouveret
  • Susan Fournier holds a Master's degree from Manchester Metropolitan University. She has served as president, vice-chair, and is an accredited member of the I-CHRIE (International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education). She has been a proud member of the CRCS family for over 25 years.
